Ruben Villa has it harder than most think, Sulaiman Segawa is a well rounded southpaw with a 70 inch reach for a featherweight. His record (16-4-1) isn't a good indicator of how good he is. He is well tested.

    He had:

    Beating Upcomers:
Brian Gallegos (6-0), Alejandro Salinas (9-1), Hector Lopez Jr (10-0-1), and Gadwin Rosa (10-0).

    Tested fighters:
Misael Lopez (14-2), Prince Dzanie (23-1) and Elijah Pierce (9-1).

    Lost by UD to:
Abraham Nova and William Foster III (who went to have a split decision win to Edwin De Los Santos)

The issue is that Segawa has a low KO% which means it's likely to go to the judges. I think we both know what that means lol

Considering Villa isn't particularly a big hitter either, it be more skill and attrition based fight between the two. If I remember correctly he had been sick against Cristian Cruz thus he tired in the sixth round. He had a good performance against Brandon Valdes displaying a more aggressive style, but it isn't as impressive compared to his wins against Vivas, Collado and Venado Lopez.

This is good test, Ruben needs the rounds since after being beaten by Vaquero, he has been inactive for 2+ years, that is if he wins of course.
