Boots battered him. He got hit clean a lot but I'll attribute that to ring rust. Boots landed so many clean body shots. Just a nasty commitment to the body.

He took a lot of damage in the fight. Boots' body shots were spectacular.

Boots definitely still has some stuff to work on defensively, but the offensive repertoire is insane. Not sure where they go from here? Really isn't anybody to fight at 147, they need some of the vacant belts to shake out. Do they go to 154 already? Will be interesting to see. Might have to bide their time by booking the Crowley fight again, or maybe someone like Rocha.

Have always liked Avanesyan, he's tough and can punch, can definitely come again. I still think he's probably a top 10 fighter at 147

He might. Physician recommended stoppage. Looked like his mouth was open in the 5th.

Boots looked mediocre to me. Got caught clean too many times, and even his power didnt seem to be there, he hit ava with the kitchen sink and he took the power mostly. Plus he looked 2 divisions bigger. Offense was one dimensional also.

147 division is pretty dead, he should go to 154 if crawford wins his next fight.

???? He was jabbing to head, chest, and stomach. Along with Hooks, Uppercuts, and bodywork all while going back and forth between ortho and lefty

Boots knew he had him. He wouldn't be so careless against a more dangerous opponent. Boots is a monster for anyone

I think he looked good. He got tagged more than he would like but his power was evident and his offense was very good imo. He had great body work. Ava was not the fight Boots was preparing for and he ate more counter punches than I think he ordinarily would have. This was a net positive showing for Boots in my book.
