hes fighting a 35 year old journey man who got 2 weeks notice, this proves nothing. boots is 27 and hasnt beaten anyone of note.

it seems they let everyone "marinate" now. DLH had already fought Genaro Hernandez, Macho Camacho, Pernell Whitaker, Julio Cesar Chavez, Quartey, Trinidad and Mosley by time he was 27. How the *** has boots fought literally nobody.

I want to like Boots so much and I do, but his career is just one hopeless no-hoper after another. It also doesn't help that 147 is a barren wasteland. So, most likely an early KO for Ennis who will probably be looking to better Crawford, but I'm kind of hoping Avanesyan pulls a rabbit out of his hat and at least makes this competitive, because on paper this is a one-sided mismatch.

I think Boots will do the business but find it incredible that David Avanesyan is simply labeled a career journeyman by the media. Having followed his career, if he is a journeyman then so are 99% of active boxers not labeled a tomato can. DA is a road warrior. There’s a difference.

He is 36, inactive 2 years and coming off a KO loss. Call him what you want, this fight is a waste of time and total joke.

The media trying to shove sh/t fights down our throats. This opponent ****** for Crawford, he didn’t get better for Ennis.

I think he's already the best welterweight in the world, but he does need bigger names after this fight.

If he gets a big fight and it's at a higher weight, take it, more important than the IBF belt I'd say.

The challenge is for Eddie to secure these fights for Ennis, because they're not exactly keen to fight him. He's a special talent that comes along very rarely.

I don't know if he'd beat Crawford, but either way he'd present the toughest fight that Bud has ever had.

Avanesyan is one togh mf'er. Remember how Bud had to hit him so hard he literally tore his gloves on his bloody head!

Then the judges were like eh just finish him bareknuckle. Which he did.
