Totally agree. Foster nearly lost his previous fight with the same type of effort he displayed in this one. His style of boxing has finally caught up with him. Just because he did not get hit cleanly on the chin does not mean that he was not getting touched up all night. Cannot assume that all 3 judges are ****** or corrupt. Does everyone really think that judges were bribed to give the verdict to a foreign fighter against a house fighter? A much simple explanation is that commentators are very biased and influenced everybody's opinion about what they were seeing in the fight. I saw one guy walking forward and throwing punches all night long which were landing on the arms and body and the other guy running back and throwing one punch at a time (not very often). In a terrible fight like that, what do you reward? Judges went with the effort and aggression.
Only need to go see his last two fights and realize that he’s been somewhat lucky and luck is only there to run out

A “travesty”…huh Tim? Kind of like the ridiculous scoring of what should have been your one ☝️ and only fight with Pacquiao?!?!
The fight that you still brazenly claim you won 8-4?
Bradley was a good prize fighter, but definitely not HoF worthy!!!

I dint disagree with Tim. But, there is another point that needs to be part of the conversation. Defensive fighters like Foster and Shakur are not entertaining and can be boring in spite of their talent. We live in an entertainment universe and their style turns off most viewers period.
Here is the $64K question. On their own, how many PPV. Buys can they sell putting aside an opponent?
Shakur….. less than 25,000
Foster…. Less than 12,000
Therefore, like Mayweather before them, unless they have an opponent that is a bigger PPV draw, they are a bust for any Promoter. In the case of Shakur paying him anything north of $1M is a losing proposition. Far less for Foster.
Bottom line, these two fighters entertainment value is very low.

This statement right here, “like Mayweather before them, unless they have an opponent that is a bigger PPV draw,” without context, is hogwash.
Mayweather’s PPV with Victor Ortiz was 1.25 Million - why didn’t Ortiz do similar numbers in his next fight? Same with Mosley, Guerrero, Hatton and Cotto.
The Berto fight was a jock hence the low PPV numbers.
