    True. Now we’re at the point where it’s hurting the sport.

    One world champ, regional champs from - Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, North America.

    We can only dream,
    I've been saying similar for years that the undesputed should dump the belts & just defend the ring belt. Or now the Saudis are here to stay they make an undesputed belt & phase the alphabelts away.

    Why not 2 belts per division only? One belt for the Americas and the other represents the rest of the world or the international champion.

    That way we still have the exciting champion vs champion fights and thus unified, undisputed champ of the world.

    When one considers how exciting boxing is, how easy it is to follow even with only a rudimentary understanding of what it takes to win a fight, and the incredible characters involved who shape the drama, it's frustrating that the sport isn't (universally) regarded as one of the biggest on the planet
