Beat cancer, became a champ. Very good career but now time to hang them up champ. Train your son, maybe see if you can **** out Angela Simmons a few more times.

After watching the re run on YT I'm not even sure Jacobs was even trying to actually win the fight you know crazy stuff goes on in boxing so I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jacobs is just fighting for a check with no intention or directed not to win because that did not look like a real fight it looked like sparring imo with Jacobs putting next to nothing on his punches no bad intentions behind his punches at all like wtf did dude even train his body didn't look like it lol..

I'd say after the GGG fight he wasn't the same he took a lot of punishment but for this fight I just don't think Jacobs even trained much at all there just certain things he was doing not putting nothing on his punches not sharp that tells you he didn't do no real hard 8 week camp he couldn't have...It's not like Mosley jr is some spring chicken he is 33 34 years old himself..SO idk I think it's part age part of it is Jacobs not even trying or told to lose intentionally because Mosley Jr is not that good never was

He's older than Donaire was when he fought Inoue the first time. I thought that makes him "ancient" around here.

The top boxers today are Uysk and Bud Crawford and Beterb, with Beterb and Uysk being older than Danny so apparently it's not ancient if the top boxers are the same age and Donaire actually looked pretty good vs Inoue til he got stopped. This ain't 1998 anymore and btw Inoue is like 32 now

Cool, and I'm not saying Danny isn't older but none of the top boxers today are all that young even Tank will be 30 next time he steps into the ring so all top boxers are in their 30s...and even the guys next up like Stevenson, Boots are just about pushing 30 now they are both 27 years old already.

Some guys wear out quicker than others , it's about more than just when their birthdays are. There are always going to be outliers , but generally 37 is old for boxing. For every guy like Usyk or Beterbiev there are fifty more who no longer have it at 37. That's the norm.
