There’s really no one else he needs to fight. Idc about the prospect Morrell, or any 175 fighters like Bivol or Beterbiev (too high for Canelo).
Are you talking about the British tour? Because Morrell jr was his mandatory for three years and benavidez for two. He never looked their way. So bivol and berteviev are too high, but drunken kovalev was perfect? I think, like your idol, you have a selective memory. And I know you know, just to remind you that they're new people reading the post, you should be truthful, honest, and accurate. By the way, once Morrell jr won the regular belt, he wasn't prospect no more.

Jacobs was a good champion, beat Rosado, Truax and Derevychenko. Gave a tough bout to both Canelo and Golovkin. Along with having a controversial loss to Ryder.

Benavidez sadly gets some criticized by a certain fanbase despite that he is still building his resume, with wins over Andrade, Dirrell, Plant and Gvozdyk which aren't bad at all. He likely still has about 7-8 prime years left if he keeps it consistent he could have a great resume.

Like I said, a solid fighter. rosado, truax ryder are journeymen, derivachenko is getting there, he did what solid fighters do, he gave a good account of himself. Talking about andrade, he was never in the fight, 36yo 154 ex-champ who avoided the best at his weight, and benavidez did what he was supposed to do, knock the guy out, plant and govzdyk are good wins, but you know what? A fight versus Morrell Jr would have been fantastic, and he chose andrade of course, and then refused to fight him. I think that canelo should have fought benavidez, or vacated the belts.

Really can't say I know much about Benavidez and Morrell case, so far I am only aware that he was the WBA title challenger for the Canelo's belt. Benavidez vs Morrell could happen at 175 considering Morrell is fighting a top 5 contender right now.

As for Andrade, I think he was a decent win, he got an Interim belt at 154 and was WBO champion at 160. Beat a undefeated Alante Fox, Sulecki and Jack Culcay. Not really much to note outside that.

The Morrell Jr vs benavidez saga has been well documented, starting with the Cuban calling him out right after his 6th fight, I think, it was his first fight with Shields so he vetoed the fight and two fights later he gave the okay.
