Take the entire fighters purse, and ban the fighter for life, that'll send the strongest message.
Not only to that fighter, but to all other fighters, including their cornermen who wouldn't be getting paid.

I agree with the entire purse but not sure about banning for life - somewhere some unscrupulous promoter would set up a competition with doping fighters. I like the idea that yu have to enter a testing out of competition programme for 2 years at your own expense.

I'd also like to see some effort to catch the suppliers of PEDS - so first offence you get your purse back if you ditch the dirt on your supplier and that leads to a successful prosecution - criminal and/or private prosecution against them. Imagine the scandals, news feeds, gossip - never ending entertainment lol

I never thought about the possibility of unscrupulous promoters setting up a competition between doped up fighters.
That would be criminal to a whole other level, they virtually wouldn't be human anymore, nor would it be a sport at that point.
In regards to the second part of your post, it's mind boggling, but like I said before lock them all up who are part of the criminal conspiracy, and take all of their ill gotten gains.
Before somebody gets killed, there have been fighters who've had their undefeated records taken (Cotto, and Cintron), by another type of cheater Margarito.
Cotto, and Cintron, were never the same after their fights against Margarito, Collins was never the same after his fight with Resto, and lastly Lopez wasn't the same after his fight with Salido.
It's just has to stop, and for that to happen you've got to implement the harshest punishment legally available.

And banned for 5 years like they do in athletics. But that will never happen in boxing because all sanctioning bodies and promoters are only interested in how much millions they can make with boxers.
