"Davis would be... the most complicated fight...because of his youth, strength and mobility".
"I could try to attack Shakur a little bit more as opposed to Tank...(Tank) knows exactly when to counter".
Sure, cos Shakur (who is, of course, younger than Gervonta) has no mobility & never counters smh lol.
Shakur doesn’t have the same power on his counters that Tank does, obviously. Zepeda wouldn’t have to be as wary against him as he would against Gervonta.

Agreed on the power, hard disagree on the wariness.
Remember how everyone said Spence was a whole heap more powerful than Bud? Imho this is like that.
It's always interesting to hear fighters assess their matchup with other fighters. I can understand the logic behind Zepeda's comments. Tank can be outboxed but he's always downloading and processing information to determine when he can land that dynamite on someone's chin. That's his goal...he's looking to spark you out.
I rate Shakur high, I think his boxing IQ is off the charts but his temperament is different than Tank's. He's looking to beat you and that's typically by outboxing his opponent. Because of the difference in approach, Zepeda most likely feels like he can try to swarm Shakur whereas he will need to be more wary of the traps that Tank sets.
I don't think Zepeda necessarily has an easier time with one than the other but the approach to victory may be more straightforward (not easier) against Shakur.
I think he might be right. I have a hard time picturing Stevenson being able to stay away from his enormous volume of punches, or counter him hard enough. He might pull it off against Stevenson.
