When u move up in weight to challenge the title holder,why does the champ have to come in under the limit??It's fine & dandy to support ur fighter,but welterweight is 147!!

I think it's fair that a fight for the welterweight title be held at the welterweight limit - 147.

Anyway, didn't this already get buried? I don't even hear much about Cotto being drained. Most of his fans think he'll make the weight no problem.

I think it shouldn't of even happened the belt stuff between them turned into a farce, saying that tho i dont see Cotto having problems getting to 145 he was at 146 last fight. Fight should have been at 147 tho..

A LW fighting a WW. And all the WW has to do is lose one more pound than he last weighed in at. Sounds reasonable to me.

Both men should be fighting at 147, especially if it's for Miguel's WW title, which he won at 147. Period.

If the belts on the line it probably should be at 147. But since they threw **** load of cash cottos way, he decided **** it I'll put my belt on the line at 145 even though its not 147.
