His problems can’t be merely blamed on mental illness. This is who he is, his beliefs are his own. Garcia read the room and he saw that there is a market for his beliefs both in boxing and in the ultra-nationalist state of affairs in the usa. Ryan simply just went off code and said publicly what many people around him were saying privately. As I’ve said many times before, as a white man, with a British accent, I cannot express how many times representatives of certain groups have come up to me making the same sort of comments, and I will also say that only about half of those people are actually white. The other half are Latinos, Asians, etc.
The only real tragedy here is that when ryan does get himself professional mental
health care, this may be given a pass as “mental health.” If a black fighter had done the same would he get that pass?

Let me do a quick P.S.A. to all my black bruvahs outcheer! Devin Haney, Shakur, Boots, Tank and all the rest of you......WE ALL WE GOT!!! The hate is real!!!! I know not everyone of other races are filled with hate and black folks do have allies out there, but for the most part everyone other group of people care about their own first and foremost and I can't blame them to a certain extent. We no longer have the luxury of trying to search for allies in hateful places. It's time we come together to help ourselves first and we still have our allies that we need to work with. I'll fill in the blanks- something something we don't condone what he said etc etc, this isn't the Ryan that we know etc etc, he's had a lot of personal struggles, going through tough times etc etc, hope he gets the help he needs etc etc.

I don't think any of them will want to completely cut off a potential cash cow, not that U-turns have never been made before. I think it'll be a question of who dares to cut him off instead of lining him up for Saudi etc, where he belongs, if you catch my drift.
