    Exactly...

There is quite a double standard when it comes to this.

For the record, Joe Calzaghe had had many world title fight (or Ring champion fights) OUTSIDE of Wales:

-fought Reid in Reid's hometown in England, Joe was robbed on one of the scorecards.
-He fought Jones and Hopkins in the USA, how often did THEY leave the USA?
-he went to Scotland, Germany and Denmark for world title fights

Ward should be fighting Kessler in Denmark, after all, Mikkel is the world champion.

I only watched the first Camp 360 and don't have up-to-the-minute details, but all this might be hype and he might very well have to give up home court advantage in later rounds. Reality shows thrive on conflict and this could just be TV producers doing their job and really focusing on this to build up drama.

Then again, I could be wrong. But, yeah, it's not fair, and if he really insisted on not traveling that wouldn't look good.

Agreed, but the others still shouldn't let it happen. All the fighters should have at least one at home and one 'away', at least one 'away' fight for the European fighters being in the US.

Not to mention that, in comparison with everyone except Dirrell, what the f**k has Ward achieved to date? It's not even as if a home fight would get a mega-crowd; as it might well with do with Kessler and Abraham particularly.
