This Mexican judge probably hates one thing more than the Devil himself: a Mexican-American going against their countrymen. It's been that way a long time. Fans from south of the border revered Oscar De La Hoya - until the day he faced JCC. Then just like that, Oscar become their public enemy #1 because he was facing one of their own. Another example, when Danny Garcia went to Puerto Rico in his "I'm coming Home" facade. He was well received by the people there and had a great time in PR. But if he had faced Cotto when both were in their prime, the Puerto Ricans would have in one instant turned against Garcia. It is what it isn't as I like to say. But the difference is Judges impact a fighter's career and the fighter's life massively. I'd rather be hated than robbed. I'm sure BAM feels the same after seeing where the cards were at the time of the stoppage. Fact is, in Boxing, Mexicans despise Mexican-American fighters against their own. That judge is no exception.

Stick around , there's always next weekend ,when even more mind bogglingly delusional cards will be turned in. I think that I might have figured it out , the commissions are having a tournament to see who can put together the worst three judge panel to turn in the worst cards every weekend. The WBC is trying to shift the tournament up to a six judge fiasco for Fury / Usyk II , they will have six judges scoring and use the three most delusional cards. Double the incompetent , blind, and corrupt judges. What's not to love about that diabolical plan ?

You're right , it is criminal, in more than one way. Just imagine the heartache. It's a wonder that no one has beat the hell out of a judge. At ringside , or somewhere else. It really breaks my heart for these guys that come from third world countries and are trying to fight for a better life . To deserve the win and be robbed like that is so unjust.

#1 reason ppl that are sporting fans don't watch boxing is because they believe it is a corrupt sport, judging etc. #2 is because too many belts and the best don't fight best very often. heard these 2 reasons from ppl thousands of times. already ppl are saying, even if Loma and tank fight, it'll be in Vegas, and even if loma wins 10 rds the judges will give to Tank. It's a gigantic cloud over the sport. what I find interesting, the Saudi cards have had quite a fee razor thin fights, but almost always the right man wins on scorecards. VERY interesting and telling imo

and also, there are certain fans who will be happy that the fighter got Robbed. think Canelo vs GGG. Just as an example. Loma vs Haney another.

What judge could have given Estrada more than two rounds. He probably only won the 10-8 round but out of generosity, he could have been given another round. I forget which one but one round was close. Other than that, all Bam.

This is why when I’m critical of the sport, 9 times out of 10 I blame everyone but the boxer. Judges, athletic commissions, and sanctioning bodies are the real killers of this sport. I can’t wait for the Saudis to take over
