I think it is time for Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez to retire now. He has nothing left to prove. At age 37 one can easily see his physical decline. He lacks both the size, power, stamina and reflexes to compete at the higher low weight classes.

I think highly of Estrada but IMO he lost all three to Roman.

Most definitely lost the first 2, but I had him winning the third one. Chocolatito was coming on in the end.

Yeah, you are right. He beat Estrada the first 2 times, but lost the last one. He seemed to have lost his step a bit.

I agree. He definitely won that second fight against Juan Francisco Estrada. Their first fight was a repeat and very reminiscent of their second bout. It was a lot closer and controversial than their last bout. Many boxing fans believed Estrada actually won that fight and the scorecards cards were too wide. However, I was not one of them. I ended up giving it to Chocolatito due to his work rate and by landing the harder/cleaner punches. He did lose that last one against Estrada though. He appeared a lot older and slower than his two previous fights with El Gallo. Both his timing and stamina were way off. Despite a strong finish. He spotted Estrada the first four rounds of that fight.

Estrada knows he will get his ass handed to him tomorrow night, so he's figuring he can get back in the winner's circle if he fights Chocolatito a fourth time. He'll really be considering retirement after tomorrow.
