For some reason i dont too, People are saying Valuev lost to an ancient Holyfield but Holyfield didnt go in there to KO valuev like Haye would be doing, This Haye's mentality of going in there to KO everyone or be KO gives Valuev all the chance in my book to give Haye a tougher than expected fight and i think people are underestimating the height difference also.

If Haye is as good as a boxer as he's hyped than he would beat Valuev. Valuev is nothing really special and not really talented either. If Valuev beats Haye it's because Haye can't box against championship caliber opponents.

Haye throws good body punches though as shown in the Mormeck fight, but its going to be intresting to see how he fights Valuev I heard he has been watching the Spinks Cooney fight which is a good guide on how to beat a tall fighter.

I actually must admit that I feel the same. Haye needed some more experience fighting bigger guys and him jumping into a fight with the largest HW champ in boxing's history might be a little too much for him. He is just not experienced enough to take this challenge in my opinion.

Unless he can box a very smart fight, use his speed to counter, keep him moving and turning constantly so as not to get set and take Valuev's best assets away which is his size and strength he will just get out-powered because of his mind-set.

I have yet to see Haye really take his time and think a fight through, use his speed and smarts to box a fighter and think about winning the fight on points rather than a KO.

Well, considering that Haye has already beaten and fought many championship caliber opponents I don't think that's really going to have anything to do with it. What it will come down to is whether Haye can fight smart enough to beat a guy that is nearly a foot taller and literally going to be one hundred pounds heavier!

Haye goes for the KO in all his fights and he may need to rethink his game plan for this fight. He may have to realise that going for a KO is just not feasible against this guy. Unless he can do that and change the way he thinks it will end up as a long night for him because it's highly unlikely that he can KO Valuev. He will need to stay outside of his range, and then get in quick enough to land combinations while being inside so Valuev can't land anything hurtful. He will have to think like an amateur fighter again. Think boxing and points, stick and move, confuse the other guy with speed etc etc etc.

I think it's going to much, much harder for him than everyone realises.

I too am starting to think that Valuev will ko Haye. True Valuev was really outboxed and got a gift against an old Holyfield, but have any of you actually seen Haye fight? He literally jumps into punches with no jab to set up his power shots making himself vulnerable if he doesn't land that "Hayemaker". You also have to consider that Haye does not have the chin of even the most ancient version of Holyfield. I think Haye will eventually be caught coming in recklessly or be ko'd by the basic 1-2 combo from a much larger man.

So you basically thing Valuev might win by KO or decision or Haye could win by KO or decision

Going all out there with your prediction

In Valuev's favour is his durability, and Hayes lack of it. That could be the decider. Haye hits harder and moves quicker, but I doubt very much he's as durable. If it goes the distance I don't see Haye's hand being raised.

I've seen Haye not go for the knockout before and win fight behind his boxing skills, which happened in his only decision win to date against Ismail Abdoul so he is capable of boxing instead of going in there on a seek and destroy mission, the main question is whether he can do it against a big heavyweight.

every boxer can be hurt!!! just because valuev is 300 odd pound is 7ft plus does not mean he can not be hurt!!!! the fact is i think haye can knock him out!!!! haye will go out for the points win he has already said he cant blast this guy out early!!!

haye should be able to work the body hard which will make the difference i will be very very surprised if haye does not this fight, valuev is a very over rated!!

haye has good laterall movement, and will keep valuev from getting set thats how haye will win this fight, valuev can not handle movement is punch output goes right down

What you think and what may actually be possible are two different things. Valuev if anything is underrated, most ppl on here including me think he is **** and is only WBA champ because he is a Don King puppet. Still, Haye may not really have to goods to win this one which would be stamina, and a sturdy enough chin.
