Promoters typically hide the PPV numbers when they are low or fail to meet expectations. Especially PBC. Let's face it, if they were good, they would have already been posting the projections the next morning.

Hey, blame it on the promoters. They think they got an oil rig that will generate money no matter what they put in front of folks. Perhaps if they at least break even/make some profit, they consider it a success for themselves, though they're doing boxing no favors in the long run. We need more accessible fights for fighters to build themselves up and continue to be PPV worthy. Just because you were PPV at some point, does not make you PPV going forward on every fight unless it is truly deemed PPV worthy.

TuneUp fights should never be on PPV. I'm not calling Frank a TuneUp, but let's be real, he was just another guy for Tank to go through to continue moving to the next big name fight in his career. That next big name fight in his career should be the PPV one, not the Frank fight. Hell, even Davis and his trainer mentioned that during the leadup/post fight, that Frank was just another one in the way to bigger things. They even acknowledged that. It should have been on regular DAZN or whatever app hosted it.
