          Roach trying to bait Mayweather......

Cotto "beat" Mosley. Mosley is bigger/Stronger and arguably faster than Pac. We all know that Pacs speed will determine if he can win or not.

People tend to forget that Cotto only lost to a bigger man who possibly "loaded" his gloves. What gets me is that everyone is over looking how Cotto can adapt to speed and actually box.

          Cotto > Pac

This fight wont be as good as everyone thinks it will be. "There is a reason we have weight classes".....

I think Cotto will weigh 156-157 fight night and Pac will weigh 148. Will result in the bigger man beating up on the smaller man. Just as EVERYONE says Mayweather does and that's arguably fair. Especially how EVERYONE wants him to fight the smaller man in Pac.....

          Mayweather vs Cotto 2010.

i see cotto's main strategy is to take the fyt to manny,..pressure from the start.
but this will be to cotto's own demise....just like ricky.
cotto will not last long if he goes on chasing pac all bell round.
he will be outbalanced and be open.....
pac will time him and set his foot for that devastatiting lef straight.

Which wouldn't be as bad if he was consistent. But he contradicts himself all the time.

it's like the guy never shuts up.

Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach expressed his excitement that the Pacquiao-Hatton fight has been finalized and said, “I’d like to see Manny fight Floyd Mayweather next.”

Pound-for-pound king Pacquiao, who inherited that position when Mayweather announced his retirement, still has to defeat 140 pound champ Ricky Hatton on May 2nd in Las Vegas before any such fight could materialize.

Roach admits the “tactical Mayweather would be a completely different experience for Pacquiao than facing the brawling Hatton. Very different styles, of course,” Roach said while doing a telephone interview from his Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, Calif. “You would have two speed guys in there. I think Manny has more power, while Floyd’s a little better boxer. Style-wise, it’s really a tough fight, one of the toughest fights out there for Manny, because of Mayweather’s style and movement. But I think it’s a fight where Manny can push the issue and get to him.”

I told Manny I’d like to see him fight two more fights then he can retire, this fight, then Floyd, and if he wins those two fights he can call it a day,” Roach said. “He’ll have enough money he can secure his family then get into politics, or whatever he wants to do. But it doesn’t work in the opposite order, you can’t have Floyd first and then Hatton. This is the fight I wanted and this is the fight I expected to happen right away.”

And in another interview, he says "we don't need to fight Mayweather. Manny can retire without fighting Mayweather". Sure, Fredo.

Cotto is very good at cornering you and reading your patterns (even Pac has patterns) slowly... only Marg's and Clottey were big enough to prevent him from doiing his usual thing.

He has excellent timing as well, ask Clottey about that stiff jab that sent him to the canvas...

Yum. That is the fight I want to see. In my opinion, Cotto is the most accomplished WW of this era.

But if Pacquiao beats Cotto, then Pacquiao has established himself as a WW, and May-Pac must happen.
