Very few people here genuinely like Ryan, myself couldn’t be further from a fan but I am also not gonna act like the guy working with Victor Conte is exactly clean either. So you can calm down bruh, it’s not that serious. Hell id get in a ring and eat lefts for 10% of what Haney got paid for that fight. Two cheaters, the better cheater came out clean despite a loss. Thats the real narrative here, not race, not finances.

Ummm, Garcia took banned substance. Thats a fact. Another fact, garcia missed weight. Haney could of refused the fight at that point but instead CHOSE THE MONEY. His bad decision. He still fought good. He should of known the fight was going to be tuff but he saw what tank did to garcia and though “easy money”. A misjudgment on his part. Move on. I dont think Haney can whip Martin. Ruff a fight.

The commission needs to release details on how they came to their conclusion/judgment. Were other batches (unopened) from the same lot # of the supplement Ryan's team said was tainted tested? If so, what was the result? How much ostarine was detected in his VADA samples? What does that detected amount likely mean? Did they conclude that the osterine was likely taken intentionally or from something tainted. Etc. Everything needs to be transparent. The more we know the less fighters/publicists/promoters/media etc can try to B.S. or slant one way or the other in this case and in future cases. There's too much speculation and not enough cold hard facts.

It’s interesting they’re sueing for damages. But I wonder if they’d sue for endangering his life due to PED use? It would be a risky one to do that with Conte on your team. I’d love to see all the dirty stuff come out in court though.

They are blaming the low bid on Haney’s next fight on the “loss” to Garcia, but the real problem is the terrible quality of opponent.

It’s tough to sell fights with technical boxers against a non-competitive opponent. You’re not going to see a knockout, you’re not going to see a close fight, so why watch? The purists and hardcore fans might tune in and enjoy a one sided clinic, but definitely not on ppv.

I'm not sure Haney vs Martin would be a one sided clinic. Martin beat Teo in my book. Haney can make excuses about the pay, but it's a duck.

Haney SHOULD sue Garcia for damages. Everything Garcia did appears to have been deliberate - both taking the PED and coming in overweight.

The problem is both Haney and his dad had those PPV dollar signs in their eyes and let the fight go on once Garcia was 3 pounds overweight when they should have either said no fight or insisted Barboza be moved up to the main event (and taken the hit as far as lower PPV buys on the night). Garcia would have been the villain getting all the negative publicity and Haney’s popularity wouldn’t have been hurt a bit.

Now, even with the reversal and fine, Haney has taken a massive physical toll from being in a fight with someone who came in overweight and doped up in order to cause maximum damage on him - and his popularity will never be as high because people still have the image of him being manhandled.

if only the Haneys really were the shrewd operators they’d like to portray themselves to be.
