Why doesn’t Keyshawn Davis fight Sandor Martin if Devin Haney turns it down? If Davis wins that would set up a Lopez/Davis unification at 140

Davis is fighting at lightweight, one division below Martin.

Because Davis wouldn't even be ranked at 140 for the WBC.

Keyshawn should go after the WBO title @ 135, then go after Teofimo @ 140!

I like Keyshawn Davis however I feel he's more talk than substance, just my opinion of him until he proves otherwise. I just think he buys into self more than others without letting the fans decide if he's the real deal or not. I have yet to see him face anyone including a faded former champion look great, he's looked good in some fights but nothing special, I just haven't seen that this kid a beast and he's going to give anyone hell he face including the champions. I would just like to see him calm the hell down over self and put on a show like his native Pernell Whitaker did! I know it's like night and day but Pernell only displayed his personality during the fight and after he won, this kid talk to dammmm much!

Davis has some skills, is exciting to see, and he is definitely developing well. He's not up there among the elite still, should work his way there, and not ignore his next opponent, who's pretty tough if tailor made for him. If he beats Madueno, Muratalla or Barinchyk should be his next opponent.

Everyone talks too much nowadays, it's part of the publicity game, for better or worse. We do need to see him with more serious opposition, and he needs to learn to settle down more, that nervous energy may be his undoing when he steps up in class.

Andy Cruz would give him a fight.
