Juanma, Vazquez, Marquez, Haye, And Linares Drop In The Ring Ratings

    POUND-FOR-POUND:

Vazquez (No. 6 last week) and Rafael Marquez (No. 7 last week) dropped to No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. This pushed up Nonito Donaire (No. 8 last week), Miguel Cotto (No. 9 last week) and Celestino Caballero (No. 10 last week) two positions each.

    HEAVYWEIGHTS:

Denis Boystov (No. 8 last week), fresh off a KO of Jason Gavern, traded places with David Haye (No. 7 last week) due to Boystov's greater activity.

    JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHTS:

Juan Carlos Salgado crashed the 130-pound division with a first-round KO of Jorge Linares (No. 7 last week). Salgado took over the No. 7 position, while Linares fell to No. 8. Linares' demotion pushed out Nicky Cook (No. 8 last week).

    JUNIOR FEATHERWEIGHTS:

Lopez’s life-and-death struggle with unranked Mtagwa dropped him one place to No. 3. Kratingaenggym (No. 3 last week) advanced to No. 2. Also, Nishioka (No. 5 last week) advanced to No. 4 due to his KO of Ivan Hernandez and the fact he is fighting better opposition than Steve Molitor, who slipped from No. 4 to No. 5.

    JUNIOR BANTAMWEIGHTS:

Daiki Kameda (No. 7 last weeks) dipped to No. 8 following his loss to Denkaosan Kaowichit in an alphabet title challenge at flyweight. http://www.ringtv.com/blog/1206/ring...p_in_rankings/

The p4p list is weak right now, when looking at the recent accomplishments of Cabellero, Cotto and Donaire do they really deserve to be moved up or really rated that high at all.

Vazquez and Marquez deserve to be moved down or booted all together but damn.

I don't want to **** on the guys because they are all really good fighters but is this really the list of the 10 best boxing has to offer atleast based off recent accomplishments.

As far as the top 10 P4P goes, Caballero should be less than where he's at. His record has some good defenses and contender level wins, but Williams and Dawson have bigger wins.

Vazquez and Marquez should get dropped off for a while until they beat a contender.

The Darchinyan win and Donaire's domination of his opponents should keep him where he's at, I don't care if Concepcion gave him a hard time, the guy was a super bantamweight at the weigh in. Cotto's resume and past perfomrances gives him the benefit of the doubt until he loses.

Yea Williams should be on the list for sure and Dawson aswell, The Ring always allows guys to hold on to spots much to long. I mean B-Hop has not fought in a long time and Mosley has not fought in a year either.

People ***** about Floyd getting such a high spot but to me when you look at the rest of the list those guys should have all done more (with the exception of Manny) to hold their spot.

understandable... JML looked horrible against mtagwa. vasquez didn't look all that great either I hear until the KO. Linares got dropped nasty by Salgado.

nothing wrong w/ dropping them imho
