Classic Fight: Trinidad vs. Mayorga

Okay, okay, it's old now, and it's not the classic fight that we want to talk about on this forum at the moment, but I've only just seen it.

What a cracker! Both of them slamming the Hell out of each other! Then to top it I saw the HBO Legendary Nights with Bowe-Golota.

This second one helped me to understand why Golota is held so highly in regard.. though he's a nut, ain't he?

I dunno about classic, but I enjoyed it. I think it was too 1 sided to be a classic for me, cus Mayorga didn't stand a chance and that was evident in round 1.

I know that i'm the minority with this, but i didn't like that fight at all. It was ****** - I like action as much as anyone, but i want it to be boxing action, not two guys forgetting all form and tactics and just wailing on each other. Mayorga is an idiot - i think that he was hurt for almost the entire fight, starting from when he attempted to taunt Trinidad during the first round by dropping his hands and letting Trinidad hit him, a move which i think probably cost him the fight.

Watch De La Hoya vs. Trinidad - that's a real boxing match.
