Comments Thread For: The Top 5 Opponents For Tank Davis -- And, No, Ryan Garcia Isn't One Of Them

You could feel it through the TV speakers on Saturday night. When Gervonta "Tank Davis" demolished Frank Martin with the combination of a left uppercut wrecking ball and a straight left battering ram, then climbed to the top rope and proceeded to stick his moonsault, there was a wall of sound vibrating across my living room.

Loma vs Tank should be next. Shakur vs Tank is for the future.
     future.

I cannot see an outcome that does not end up with Loma getting KO'd. He's the wrong side of 30 and for a guy who relies on speed and movement, age is never on your side. I would say Shakur would be a good one and Issac Cruz would also be a very good action fight.

If Lomachenko won’t unify with Tank then he has to deal with his mando William Zepeda. Pick your poison.

"Davis vs. Stevenson is the dream fight for the hardcore fans, regardless of whether it’s the most marketable. It’s two insanely skillful East Coast southpaws, both with perfect records, both in their 20s, clearly on a collision course to determine who’s the Leonard and who’s merely the Hearns.

I can be patient. I can wait for it to get bigger. But if you’re asking me who, in a perfect world, I’d like to see Tank Davis face this fall, it’s Stevenson all the way."

              100% Correct Answer! MAN UP!

Zepeda is #1 in WBC, WBA, and IBF! WBA won't force the issue.

Lomachenko has the IBF belt. And the IBF will force the issue unless there is a unification agreed to first.
