It's why when you see Richard fight even now he still looks pretty raw and can struggle to Adjust when the fight isnt going all his way.

where as tank he doesn't throw alot of punches but nearly every punch he does throw means something and he don't waste alot of punches. So he's able to give up the rounds but he's making guys worker harder than they want to and then they slow down and make mistakes and thats tanks thing is captalsing on the other fighters mistakes and then making them pay for it.
Your assessment reminds me exactly that of Beterbiev
Those 400. + amateur fights really are something that helps a boxer if he can adjust to the professional ranks
Many on this site don’t know chit about Beterbiev and who he’s fought in the amateurs and see him as just your regular mauler
Many will be surprised what the outcome will be with Bivol who they claim only after beating Canelo a master boxer and this great tactician
I like Bivol but need not look further than his fights with Spider and Artur to see the holes in his shield Let alone his last fight where he got hit in bunches
Artur hits way harder than that Malik guy let me tell you lol

Styles make fight and l feel Loma will give Tank a difficult fight because he is mobile and does not fight on the ropes. Martin did his best.

Frank Martin has never been world champ, we didn't expect much. It was a mismatch the day it was announced. There is a reason Tank took this fight. He knew from sparring Frank was feather fisted.

Frank Martin was humble coming into the fight as well from the end. He only talked trash because Tank was in his face saying all those things. He put up a fight more than expected.. look at Tank's face, bruised to the max.

You can't go into a fight with a power puncher, and fight to survive! You have to fight to win! Martin was too big to be fighting on the back foot! He should've imposed his will from the jump! He looked crazy running from the much smaller man!

He has a great attitude. Losing a fight like this is a bonus. He found out his strengths and weaknesses. Really will make him fix flaws. It was close fight in many other ways.

So many fighters go undefeated with the same flaws and then it's too late in their career to fix them. And sometimes even if they do lose - their ego is too big to admit it was down to their deficiencies

The swelling on Tanks face indicate that Martin isn’t “feather fisted” and the 3 scorecards of 67-66 through 7 rounds indicate that it wasn’t a mismatch. Martin was a credible opponent whether that fits your personal narrative or not.
