Comments Thread For: Former Sparring Partner Expects Full Recovery For Artur Beterbiev By Date With Dmitrii Bivol

His former sparring partner Dan Azeez doesn't believe the "meticulous" Artur Beterbiev would have agreed to the new date of October 12 for his fight with Dmitrii Bivol unless they were certain he would be fully prepared

If he gets injured and delays the fight AGAIN, he should retire

Great points by Azeez and one who should know being part of Arthur’s entourage
Ramsey would never put him in if he wasn’t ready
Many will be surprised how Beterbiev will dismantle Bivol , who I believe to be a great fighter

For me THIS is the ONLY fight that matters. There will be other bouts in other weight classes that promise to be exceptional but..... these two warriors are the elite of the elite in terms of how they have perfected their respective styles and how they execute. Inoue is another one who has incredibly pristine technique. But its rare to see two VERY HIGH quality fighter's who KNOW what they're doing and who operate on such a top tier level, be in the same weight class and eventually clash. Think Leonard vs Hearns, James Tony vs Mike McCallum, Salvador Sanchez vs Azumah Nelson etc..... that level of quality. That's how I see this match up. Can't to for this!!
