Comments Thread For: The Next Moves For Gervonta Davis and David Benavidez Already Have Our Attention

It's as if Gervonta Davis has one of those plastic kitchen timers running through his head. As he winds it to a start, he goes through his routine. Sees the opening. Downloads the information. Sets free his damaging punches. And then he sets up for the biggest punch of them all.

Martin was picked for a reason. He is a crafty southpaw. He was picked to test the waters for Loma and Shakur. I believe Tank is gunning after both Loma and Shakur. Too bad Martin might have more pop than those two, so Tank will execute the same game plan and walk them down. Both ends in KO.

I think Benavidez will be absolutely slaughtered by either Bivol or (especially) Beterbiev. I also think that Canelo will subdue him like he did with/to Plant. However skilled he might be, there is no room for Benavidez at the top table with the big boys. His level of opposition is thin. Plant and Andrade. Two flowers won't make it for the summer, though.

Frank is Kambosos level, at best. Shakur and Loma would have disposed of him in rounds 5-6, maximum!

Amazing how this whole site is emphasizing David's injuries. All boxers go into a fight with injuries. They are not a performance excuse. I am losing respect for Benavidez, He's a whiner. Why didn't he climb into the ring when Canelo invited him?Grab the Mike and sell yourself as the next fight, But no,he'd rather whiner.

Ideally next up for Tank would be Shakur but the business of boxing will prevent that from happening and will want to build it up more. So most likely Loma is on deck.
Ideally, up for Benavidez but Canelo acting like a complete and utter pu$$y will prevent that from happening. Hopefully he can land a big fight at 175.

Injury or not he dominated the fight. Not sure what your complaint is other than it seeming that you’re low key trying to defend canelo being a puss. Benavidez has established himself as the most credible opponent canelo has had since ggg 6 years ago and also as the most lucrative option canelo has had since then. Yet you think him hopping in the ring after a canelo fight is what would’ve finally allowed canelo to grow some balls? Get real. Weird how boxing fans have gone from wanting to see big fights get made to a crew of betas that actually enjoy watching their favorite boxers duck challenges.
