1. Don't believe everything you read. Roach may have said he wanted the first shot at Floyd after coming out of retirement before he had a tune-up (which would be the perfect to fight him) but he knows as well as Arum does what the outcome of that fight would be if he fights Floyd now.

2. You're thinking short term. That no soul having crook Bob Arum has been around the block a few times and he realizes that one big pay day against Mayweather in a fight which Manny would probably lose would take money out of his pockets in the future. Hence why you seem him pulling the "It's not gonna happen cause Floyd's asking for too much money" card whenever he's asked about it in interviews.

They should have their talks after the Cotto fight and make it happen. 50/50, or 60/40, 60 going to the winner, that way no one complains.

Gayweather is practically begging Pac to fight him.

Of course Pac and Arum knows this...

Pac-Gayweather can fight provided gayweather take 40 percent penny change.

Otherwise Pac has a lot more options.

And personally its better for Pac's legacy to fight Shane Mosley. Gayweather hasn't proven anything.
