Don't get me wrong. He's a really good and entertaining fighter. But I've said it before and I'll say it again. Benavidez is ducking Morrell because he always need an extreme size difference to win. He doesn't have that with Morrell plus Morrell has youth, speed, and boxing ability on his side. Benavidez was hitting Gvozdyk with bombs and Benavidez's face looked worse at the end of the fight. Do I want to see him fight Canelo? OF COURSE! But let's not act like Canelo is at a huge disadvantage and that's the only reason he could lose. Skill for skill, Benavidez is nowhere near Canelo's level. At the end of the fight the first thing he said he wanted to do was go down to 168 for the titles. LOL, he didn't even mention Bivol/Beterbiev, the commentator had to ask him if he'd fight them. He knows he's a weight bully and realized the same thing Canelo realized, it's different at 175. The difference is Canelo is actually small for 168. 175 is where Benavidez should be fighting. He didn't even wobble Gvor ever make him look uncomfortable. Hell, Gvozdyk won the last few rounds.
I Dare One Person To Say Benavidez Isn't The Biggest Weight Bully Ever In Boxing.

Adrien broner, chavez jr, Devin Haney, zurdo Ramirez,are/were bigger weight bullies by a long shot.Comment

Chaves Jr, Haney and Ramirez were bad but once they moved up, they fought in that weight class. Benavidez just said he wants to move back down to 168 after he couldn't do anything with someone in the weight class he actually belongs in. Nasty workComment
