  • David Benavidez is painfully basic

He couldn't even put a dent in an aging fighter and gassed out in the later rounds. Imagine him facing Canelo, who has an iron chin and relentless stamina. Canelo should definitely fight Crawford instead of wasting time on this one-dimensional, overrated trash.

Canelo has relentless stamina? Are we talking about the same fighter?

Well since he's so bad, perhaps Canelo should use him as a tune up before taking on the challenge of the millennium in fighting a man 3 divisions below him.

btw, I loled at "relentless stamina". You do know that Canelo's rep has always been that he gasses, right?

Lol I was thinking more for bivol and beterbiev. He beats canelo. Maybe canelo will grow a sack seeing this fight and finally fight him.

He leaves himself open for counters and over commits bivol will capitalize on that. He don't have the power to go toe to toe with beterbiev and will get stopped in the late rounds. Artur doesn't gas

Benavidez confuses me. Sometimes i see his fights and I see why canelo not fighting him. But sometimes he has fights like this and I feel like canelo would destroy him

Yeah, he wastes most of his stamina on those pointless power punches and ridiculous bobbing and weaving. It might look like he’s tired, but he’s just a show-off. Do you really think he gasses out easily every fight?

So Canelo is scared of a basic fighter? Damn how much of a ***** is he?

He faded in all of the ggg fights, and he was absolutely gassed in the bivol fight. Against lesser opponents that don't push the pace,he manages his gas tank. When he is made to work out of his comfort zone,he definitely gasses hard.

He barely loses steam in most of his fights, unlike the grueling few you're cherry-picking. He never reaches the point of exhaustion where he resorts to desperate clinching. Instead, he skillfully dodges with his footwork, upper body, and head movement. It's normal for any boxer to pace themselves between rounds.
