Give me a break. Lampley was one of the best blow by blow guys in the business. I couldn't care less about his personal life, that's irrelevant to his professional ability.

Lampley was good and set a standard for a non-fighter color/blow-by-blow guy (whatever the correct position description is). His longevity in that role was deserved. Yeah, he could get wound up and veer towards the hyperbolic but he mostly kept it in check.
