I'm pretty sure Taylor will be the smaller man at the weigh in and on fight night.

It could bode well for him actually, especially if it means he's sharper and can sustain his energy longer.

Also, with this being AA's first fight at 168, he runs the risk of not really knowing whether or not he's taken it too easy in camp, knowing he doesn't have to shed those extra 8 lbs. He could very well come in sluggish. There is definitely an adjustment to moving up in weight, and it starts well before getting in the ring. Many times it takes a few fights for boxers to really understand where their body needs to be at for the higher weight.

Oddly enough, if I remember correctly, Abraham needed a second attempt to make 166 against Miranda.

The speed, reach, and height difference were really evident though.

Can't wait, the excitement and nerves are building by the day.
Well spotted. Oh its ridiculous nerves yeah. This is the worst I've ever had for a fight lol. I'm glad to know I'm not alone though.

One day I want to sit back and watch all the JT fights again. And the only way I will stomach watching the Froch fight is if the next fight is a victory. Hopefully this will be a time for victory.

I just checked and you're right, the catch weight was set at 166 and AA came in at 166.5, and had to come back 45 minutes later to make weight (and even then had to remove his shorts).

I feel ya. I've watched the entire fight once, and watched up until the 12 once. Now, I'll just watch it in chunks, but never the 12th.

Sorry, it makes me sick to my ****in stomach.

I should ask Tom what he think Abraham walks around at. He must've killed himself to make 160.

Abraham is powerfully built and had a very good chin at 160, but I expect JT to test it out in their fight.

His defense is tight, but if Miranda can find AA's chin and crack his jaw, I'm confident Jermain, who is far more accurate, will check it at some point also.

Not to mention Simon seemed to stun Abraham with a wild left hook and Mahir Oral's punches also seemed to bother AA.

Needless to say, if Jermain somehow KO'd Abraham, I'd probably wet myself.

I agree here, but he may have been bothered by the weight.

If Taylor wins a decision, let alone by KO, I'll start breakdancing in the street.

Man, I just gotta jump in here and say something. I've been trying not to let myself get so emotionally involved here but it's hard. I agree with the guy earlier who said Abraham's power/defense is really all he brings. Taylor is more aggressive, better jab, better speed, more talented athlete, but something like 80% of boxing is mental and spiritual, so I hope Jermain has been seeing a sports psychologist or something to try to rid himself of the images of him sleepy in the corner. That being said.. KICK HIS ****IN ASS JERMAIN!
