Quite a solid opponent to bounce back after a year of inactivity. Ronny Rios was also a top contender at 122 and already had made his debut win at 126 thanks to probox after his TKO loss in a competitive bout with Akhmadaliev.

He is currently ranked top 5 In the sactioning bodies of WBA and WBO, not sure how Fulton would fair against Nick Ball and Rafael Espinoza at featherweight. His best odds to get a title is to challenge Vargas/Figueroa for the WBC title. Which can be done since they are all under the PBC banner.

Don't love it, both guys have been very inactive and IDK what Rios has left

I think he got a stoppage win on a probox card quite recently, was his first fight in a few years though.

Fulton is a heavy favourite I think. I suspect this leads to Fulton-Figueroa II at 126.

Yeah, I saw Rios came back and picked up a win, I just think both guys are question marks at this stage, so we would come out of that fight without any real answers. Would rather see Rios continue to build up instead of going for a make or break fight and see Fulton go against a more active and experienced 126 lber

I'd watch. Plant vs Andrade sounds boring, but it's a good match.
