Will the Saudi league kill of the sanctioning bodies?

If the Saudi league is successful with one recognized champion per weight division will the sanctioning bodies become obsolete?

No one will want to recognize the corrupt and confusing sanctioning body championships when there is a centralized organization putting on fights for a single Undisputed championship.

Hope Turki's idea comes to fruition. He has made a lot of promises to make big changes on the sport and he has full filled the vast majority of them so far.

If so, they will have killed themselves.

It's possible they are so tone deaf that they won't change a thing even now, like Circuit City when Best Buy started taking over.

But it's possible that somebody there recognizes the growing threat to their collective monopoly and they will begin to make some changes.

I dont like the idea of one, because its too much power in the hands of too few. They can then blackball fighters for financial or political reasons or other outside pressures. But three is plenty, and only with consistent rules for all fighters.
