It's the fear of losing full stop. The only reason to why Canelo doesn't like him is because he wants to fight the coward. But this is boxing. You're supposed to want to fight the best, otherwise you're in the wrong job. Benavidez has done nothing wrong in this regard. (or something like that), then the next few days ginger issues a statement that his "advisors" told him to relinquish the WBC belt to avoid Golovkin. Only after Golovkin showed that he wasn't the hyped killer in his fight against Jacobs did the first Golvokin-Canelo fight happen. Ginger and his team can't age out Benevidez. Maybe Benevidez should intentionally look bad against Gvodsyk, that will entice team Canelo.

It makes perfect sense when you acknowledge the fact he aged Golovkin out for years for the first 2 fights. But it's hard to rationalise when you're this indoctrinated. For the third fight he went further and waited until he was 40. But the hilarious thing about the third fight was that Canelo said he was only fighting him after what he said. Words Golovkin said AFTER the second fight. You know, the reason to why Canelo wouldn't fight him a third time for?

Canelo is all over the place. Just accept he's a fraud and always has been and it'll be better. Making a fool out of yourself for him won't change the reality of the situation.

Canelo has disgraced, and dishonored his legacy, with all of his shameless ducking of David Benavidez.
There is no way he can fix that now, because even if he were to fight Benavidez next, the fans wont forget all of the running he did for years to avoid him.
