The Pittsburgh kid brought nothing to the table he lived off a spar he was just another wanting the big fights every champ has a line wanting them, with sparing it doesn't matter he was fight-ready, and Floyd was basically off the couch, Ive seen the same deal lots of times over the years, everybody tries to best the champ in sparing sometimes they catch them when they are flat, Ive never seen it transition to in a real fight.

Most fighters and who they fight is orchestrated and controlled by management, not the boxer, even to the point of lying to the fighter to set the fights up they want, its not until you get to superstar level where you can say get me that guy I want him that takes status power, if the fight makes financial sense its a go, fans don't see this they have the idea that if a fight doesn't happen the guy is scared of them which at that level is 99% bs.

Floyd applied these sort of mind games throughout his career. If Floyd didn't want to fight a guy, the fight wasn't going to be made. And if he did want a fight, it got made. This idea that it's all his teams fault, or that guys didn't bring anything to the table, or that Floyd never purposely sidestepped anyone, doesn't hold up when you look at it. Many great fighters have purposely avoided someone, Robinson avoided Burley, Leonard avoided Pryor, Foreman avoided Holmes, Bowe avoided Lennox, DelaHoya avoided Vernon Forrest, etc, the list goes on and on. Floyd is no exception to this. No diss to Floyd. If anything, he's human. I wish I had your mind reading ability to know what people think, Williams was out boxed and so was Margarito by guys that were nowhere near as good as Floyd they weren't out worked they were outboxed, what makes you think the 1000 punching machines are what turns up against Floyd and not the version that lost to lessor fighters, I think Williams would be a good fight Floyd winning a decision, and I think Margarito would be beaten like Baldomir, just boxing circles around him, Margos feet couldn't catch Floyd if he wore snow shoes.

Depends which Margarito and Paul Williams you're talking about. Floyd wouldn't fight either one of them at all, let alone when they were in their prime. But if he were to hypothetically take either one on, I feel like it would be after they got their brains knocked out by other people first. Floyd wasn't just a great boxer, he had spies in guys camps. He knew when they were ready to be taken, when they had legal or family issues, when they were out partying, had weight issues, he'd even send women to certain guys. Like Corrales. He was just a shell of his best self when he fought Floyd. Floyd was still a great fighter. He just didn't fight everyone available. He says he fought 23 champs, but Emmanuel Augustus was probably a more worthy opponent than most of the so-called champs he fought

Well if that’s true Tank needs to get a move on and fight some real contenders. The man is nearly 30 years old and beat nobody other than garcia who he weight drained, he’s also inactive due to his ******ity outside the ring if he keeps that up he’s more destined for prison than greatness.
