Hope David and company didn't sleep on this dude. He's quite the fighter and just isn't known outside of boxing for whatever reason but he's a legit fighter to be debuting at 175 for David. We'll know how he'll look moving forward if he ices this dude because outside of Bivol and Beterbiev this is the top guy they could have picked at that weight class.

From all I have seen from the Benavidez camp, they are totally dedicated and take every opponent super serious, so I don't get the impression they are taking someone like Gvozdyk lightly. He is very good test for a step up fight in the division even if he is 37, a young 37.
