Comments Thread For: Unification With Gilberto Ramirez in U.S. Next for Chris Billam-Smith?

Should Chris Billam-Smith gain revenge over Richard Riakporhe at London's Selhurst Park and successfully defend his WBO cruiserweight title for the second time, he will likely take aim at the other belt holders in the division.

I don't think Riakphore is that great but he walks very hard and that was the difference the first time he fought Billiam-smith. But Billiam smith has improved as a fighter since then but haven't seen to much difference in Riakphore

Nothing wrong with confidence, but I don't like the way team CBS appears to be overlooking RR. All well & good Chris gets the win & goe's on to unify. It's going to be interesting to see how long Gevor's going to be out with his eye injury as that's the one I was hoping Chris was aiming at. Having said that CBS/Zurdo does look competitive!

Billam-Smith reminds of Josh Warrington big plans but B level champion he will lose already champion Richard is not that simple Hungry is the word and the disrespect making Billam get world title opportunity first

Don't be surprised if Canelo jumps to Cruiserweight for a ramirez cherry pick

Perfect comparison to Warrington. CBS is letting all that love in the Bournemouth bubble go to his head. He wasn’t all that great in the Okolie fight - Okolie was just that bad.

In fairness, it's pretty hard to look good against an opponent who's just trying to grab you all the time. Okolie stank the place out and deservedly lost. He was fortunate to not get DQ'd.

Opetaia is going to clean out the Cruiserweight division with very little resistance. Mairis Breidis is the second best Cruiserweight in the world.
