Does this now inspire Barrera-Morales IV?

I've not actually seen last night's fight, but if it was as clear-cut as people are saying, then won't there be some haggling for a fourth match between Eric and Marco now Eric has vanquished someone who definitively beat Barrera?

if morales is having trouble making 130 (he weighed in naked for this fight) then he should move up. pac should now fight barrera.

I'd actually prefer to see either of them fight Marquez, and then a Marquez/Pacman rematch. Morales/Barrera was great the first 3 times, but another rematch would begin to get redundant.

I tend to agree. The morales Vs Barrera trillogy was terrific but not again, Barrera won convincingly last time. Morales is the mandatory but its not due to next year so....why doesn`t Morales give pac a rematch because it was a close fight. Manny fans could make the excuse that at the new weight Manny couldn`t adjust. So do it again, it`ll sell.
It will also establish a definative challenger for Barrera.
In the mean time Barrera can hammer Fana next month ans then take on Marquez! The clamax would be a super fight against the two best for a title!

I think a barrera and pac fight is likely, Barrera didnt look good going into the first fight

I feel like it's a bit early to start saying "It'll sell". Not even sure what the PPV numbers were like on last night's fight. Personally, I don't think they're going to be that good. I don't know anyone who bought the fight personally, and from what I could see, there really weren't that many who read these forums that bought it either. I predict a disappointing, if not dismal, sell.

there is no need for a fourth fight between morales and barrera, barrera proved to morales he is the better boxer between the two warriors. morales has accomplished what he has to do at 130lbs, he should move up to 135lbs and take fights there (castillo, corrales, etc..) morales could even go up to 140lbs, skip the 135 division an take mega fights there (i know im dreaming too much, but im just imagining him fighting the likes of gatti, mayweather, cotto, hatton, kosta tzyu, etc..)

barrera has unfinished business with pacquaio and could either fight him at 126lbs or 130lbs, then the winner can take on juan manuel marquez. i just dont think that barrera and morales paths dont have to cross again, they fought 36 rounds of great boxing and barrera just edged him out, let them leave it at that and move on with their careers.

I think that people are more waiting for a fight between Barrera and Pacquiao, cause the Babyfaced Assasin wants to take revenge for his unexpected defeat against Manny. This fight would sell and I think that people are more waiting for this fight than Barrera vs. Morales.

I agree. I also don't think Morales wants to face Barrera again without a gun in his hand. Damn he hates that man! I also think Morales vs. Marquez and Barrera vs. Pacman would be awesome. You put them all on the same night and I'll gladly pay $49.95 again! And then you havw the two winners fight each other. Could be Morales vs. Barrera again but who knows. And no matter who wins we still need Pacman vs. Marquez.
