HW boxing goes in the ****ter after the big 4 are gone and it looks 2 out of the 4 aren’t what they use to be ( wilder/fury the trilogy took a lot out of both ). Hw boxing will basically be left with Dubois, big baby , and maybe Zhang but he is 41.

He's just more scared of what's in front of him so it effects his speed, reactions, it's snowball effect.
He's probably the same. He's always been outboxed, but now he's facing guy who hits harder than himself it's not gonna end well

AJ could’ve been undisputed champ Eddie don’t leave that part out.AJ almost fraudulently got a shot at the crown had usyk screwed that plan. Zhang wipes the floor with AJ too but Eddie will dodge him like he has Covid

I don't believe Eddie had faith in Wilder still having it. I think he gambled on a long shot - Wilder had a puncher's chance of beating Zhang and setting up a mega money (and fairly easy) date with Joshua. It was a long shot but it was worth a go.

As for him not being the same fighter, that's true to some extent. He's older, he's taken some big blows, and he had a big period of inactivity. Obviously that hasn't helped.

But he was also just this limited previously. I went back and watched the first Ortiz fight over the weekend. It's not a big difference - he's a bit older but he's bringing the same style and the same strengths and weaknesses.

Yes he is. He's just fighting better ranked opponents (in a shlt division)then got exposed. But to be fair Emperor Zhang would destroy anybody in his path.
