    Hand Speed - Dirrell
Foot Speed - Dirrell (although has sloppy footwork)
    Reflexes - Dirrell
    Skill - Dirrell
    Defense - Dirrell
    Combination Punching - Dirrell
    Counter Punching - Dirrell
    Ring Generalship - Dirrell
    Accuracy - Dirrell
    Strength - Froch
    Power - Froch
    Chin - Froch
Stamina - Froch (more proven than Dirrell)
Determination - Froch (again, more proven)
    Intangibles - Dirrell

The only way I see Froch winning is by braking Dirrell down slowly while losing a lot of rounds and then and stopping him late. Something like the Margarito-Cotto fight. My money is on Dirrell by wide UD though.
Just curious, what do you see in Dirrell that makes you think he has superior intangiables?

I agree with VI. His footwork is good enough (to get him by inthis fight at least), though he does get sloppy and off balance when he steps to far and leaves he legs far apart.

The thing I want to see is how Froch will deal with a southpaw who is going to be moving around a lot. I saw a sparring photo and noticed that his lead footwas in inside his southpaw opponent's lead foot.

      Funny.......

Dirrell's biggest problem is this fight is his sloppy footwork but of all the guys in the tournament Froch will be the least able to take advantage of it. Froch is slow and flatfooted and never cut the ring on Taylor. He only caught up with him when Taylor gassed otherwise he might have followed him around the ring for 30 rounds.

        ****, that's a typo...I give that to Froch. I'll edit that.

Another attribute I forgot was versatility. Dirrell can switch-hit effectively and has backup plans, unlike Froch who is very one-dimensional and what you see is what you get.

Direll suffers from severe jetlag. He has just come down from Big Bear.

Raise your hand those who like me thinks that Direll doesn't have the stamina to go 12 rounds with Froch!

              Hey, we all make mistakes.

But I think in this fight, Dirrell will be better off staying as a southpaw. Froch has the worst footwork in this thing, and I'm curious to see how he'll deal with a very athletic and quick southpaw.

Did you even read the story?

It comments on the travel and on how good Dirrell looks having gotten off the plane that day and not having slept.

According to an article that was posted here, Dirrell appeared to be very energetic for a guy who just arrived in England from LA without sleeping.

But I still have reservations about him going 12.

Agreed...I don't think he'll be able to miss with the left hand.
