People actually thought he was going to critically injure holyfield. Also, Tyson always tried to win, even if it meant taking punches, he never laid back and waited to land a punch that never came, nor did he intentionally try to give away rounds. Wilder was a good heavyweight in a very weak era of the division. He would not have even been competitive in the champions for a day era in the early 80s with Weaver, Witherspoon, Smith, Dokes, or even Cooney
That aint the Tyson I remember lol Who thought he was going to critically injure Holyfield??? Tyson had fell off and was still doing an saying dum ish getting tagged mord and more by the fights and taking Lsz..his career right on par with Wilder opponent wise..

Wilders shot to pieces. But the worst thing he did was get rid of mark brealand and bring in Malik scott because trying to turn him to some technical boxer when he's never been that or ever will be this late in the game was ridiculous. Like tonight he was just there on the backfoot moving around but he had no clue of what to do even now so mix that with the fact hes gun shy aswell then he's a sitting duck and what happened was always gonna happen.

I though Wilder had a chance if he could stay away and tire Zhang out. Wilder has looked way too tentative in his last two fights. Time to hang up the gloves!

Alot of people thought Tyson was gonna beat holyfield it's why Holyfield was 25/1 underdog before the fight. All the sporting media, boxing writers and alot of the fans etc didn't give holyfield a chance because holyfield was coming of two losses and one of them being a stoppage loss to bowe and they thought he was washed. alot people went back too drinking the mike Tyson kool aid when he got out of jail saying mike was just gonna come back and take over because the guys in the division weren't that great and he was gonna steam roll them. It's only after he lost to holyfield and then lost his head in the second fight that they realised mike wasnt the same and never was again.

Wilder is gradually getting out of the mix in the heavy weight division. Joshua vs Wilder should have been made long time ago. I still want to watch it anyway.

AJ and Hearn also avoided Wilder in his prime so theres that too ill never forget that just excuse after excuse when it was a 50-50 fight
It was never a 50/50 fight. Wilder was never on AJs level

Damn, King!! I just saw the highlights. I didn't have no idea Chinese Power knocked u TF out like that!?! sweet babee jeezus! He knocked you out worse than both times that Fury did, King!! You were leading with a lazy right hand, and you had no business doing that, and Zhilei gave you what your lazy right hand called for. You have officially become Marcellus Wilder now. You're now worse than your little brother, as far as devastating knockout losses go. You're a deer now, waiting to be eaten by all the coyotes and wolves. BAMBI SQUUUAAADDDD!!
