Nice pickup. TR doing some frugal but solid pickups lately. Lemos is a talented guy whos probably not THAT pricey to nab.

He'll fight his ass off for sure. Going back to 135 though from my understanding.

Top Rank won't be around to much longer, at least tv wise. Their ratings have been awful for at least 2 years, they have no big stars, no decent match ups they can put on on a regular. I think they have a little more than an year on their contract, I bet ESPN drops them if they can't get it together.

Yea and that's pretty sad to say if you're an American boxing fan. HBO, Show and now Espn. I keep telling everyone that if boxing is going to make it then TR PBC and GB have to link up on the same network real soon. If not it's over and we will probably be watching our sport transition over to the Arabian desert. GAWD help us!!!

Honestly I think that would probably be a good thing for boxing if they all got together and put the best match ups. And I also think ESPN might not be out of the boxing biz, just not with Top Rank, I can see someone with a better stable like PBC swooping in, even if it means ESPN doing more ppv.

Gustavo Lemos really deserved the win against Richardson Hitchins. He made Richardson's last name a reality, because he hit his chin over, and over again.
It's a testament to Richardson's will to keep on fighting, because he was being pressured up against the ropes, and taking a pounding.
They put on a heck of a fight when they fought each other, Lemos didn't let Hitchins box his usual safety first fight.
He forced Hitchins to dig down deep into his soul in order to keep from getting overwhelmed, by the raging bull called Lemos.
I can't wait to see Lemos' next fight, and as far as I'm concerned he's still undefeated, because he really beat Hitchins, he just didn't get the judges decision.

Don't worry, DAZN will be there for them. Easier to make big fights.
