      Catterall is very underrated IMO..
Catterall has always been a talent that has gone under the radar, mostly because his fights usually aren't exciting, he never used to sell tickets and he's not much of a personality.

in a way, getting robbed in the first fight actually boosted his profile more than anything because it was huge news at the time and a lot of people got behind him.

he spent years getting good sparring with the likes of Canelo and Floyd. Carl Frampton always used to say he's one of the best British fighters but never had the opportunities.

I'm not expecting him to dominate the division but he will give anybody at 140 good or tricky fight.

He's had a lot of injuries, hence the inactivity over the past few years. Also he had quite a few tough fights from fairy early on compared to most fighters.

He was fighting the likes Postol in his 13th fight or something, that was Crawfords best win up until not so long ago. Then he had tough fights with the likes of Prograis, Baranchyk and Ramirez all when they were undefeated. A lot of tough fights within a relatively short space of time.

He was undisputed within 19 fights, beating good undefeated fighters but i think he basically took everything out of himself to do it and his body started breaking down. Some people have a very high peak but not longevity.

Not to mention he has killed himself to make 140 for years, but continued to do it because I think he knows its a different ball game at 147.

There is when you consider the bloke used to be undisputed. Worst thing he did was leave Shane mcguigan. He has arguably lost every fight since

Well the first two fights were pretty ****in decisve you ask me, just Catterall got jobbed first time round. I've not really got any questions left. Bit pointless.

Taylor should consider retiring. Just find as glamorous a last fight as he can to give him a bit of a nest egg and get out, becuase he's clearly been in decline for his last few fights.

Probably the most damning thing (beyond the nunerous injuries) is the pre-fight talk of how he is at his best, but then consistently not being able to bring his best for 12 rounds whenever he has stepped between the ropes.

I don't see how you give Taylor more than 4 rounds in that fight. Arum nearly had a heart attack complaining about scores where he agreed with who won.

I thought their rematch was a decisive end to their rivalry.

Taylor fought a pretty good fight compared to their first, but he also took a lot more damage.

That's why he's calling for the rematch. It's the only fight for him where he can get a retirement payday.
