kind of tells the story of the fight game on T. V. these days and why it is followed and even not followed the way it once was. Still the reason fights were put on T. V. years ago was bc of the money factor another words it was a cheap sport to show on the television set at one time, today not so much and the whole of it in the USA between the less interest in boxing and the loss of boxing gyms and interest in many young people wanting to make it in the sport. it is a recipe for what things look like today. Credit to the love of the fight game and trying to keep things moving along for Duva. The memories of fights and fighters in the early part of the article was nice to bring back times long gone .......thanks

There has to be TV network that is willing to NOT sign an exclusive agreement with just one promoter. That will put on fights from multiple promoters throughout the year, like HBO used to do.

ESPN would have been the perfect outlet for that. But Bob Arum locked them down and made sure no other promoters got access to that airtime.

Main Events has a great history and a strong name. Seems strange they are are not a bigger player in this market.
