    David Haye Backs Audley Harrison To Do Big Things

    David Haye is backing countryman Audley Harrison to make a big return in the heavyweight division. Haye, who challenges WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev on November 7, says Harrison looked very good during his three wins to capture the crown at the recent Prizefighter III heavyweight tournament. Haye is realistic when it comes to Harrison's competition that night. He says the 2000 Olympic gold medal winner needs to apply the same tools at a higher level. If he can, Haye believes that Harrison can do big things at the weight. In the last few years, Harrison's career has been up and down. He suffered four defeats since 2005. [details]

      once Harrison beats Sexton, Fury, McDermott, Williams, Rogan etc then he might be going places.

        Just borec'd him he's 37 now man.He's got a s--t load of work to do and very little time if he wants to be a world contender.At the most I can see him doing is British Commowealth if that tbh.I don't hate and dis him but it just looks more realistic.He'll need something special to get anywhere near a world title I think not inless he gets a short cut and is very lucky on the night.

            @josenoway - lol

            david haye cant be taken seriosuly anymore. i mean having
            lined up a title shot without really even deserving it (how many
            fighters would kill for a shot) then he backs down. lol

            harrsion vs tua ...

              I hope this is not what I think it is. Haye trying to build a potential fight with Audley after Valuev cos I would lose all respect I ever had for him if he did.

                  If I was Audley, I'd just be aiming at avenging my defeat to Michael Sprott. It would literally be all I wanted from my career.

                  I can't believe he can shake that one off. They had to bring him round with smelling salts.

                  The irony was, that was the most aggressive Audley Harrison we have ever had, and look what happened...

                    audley trained at the gym that i used to go to down in socal and he always looked tip top whenever i saw him but then again he is one of the only boxers ive seen train up close and personal, he was a nice guy too but i doubt he would be able to stand up to the to HW right now and time is not on his side
