greeddy mafacka, its easy to say it when youre not in the ring, and doing nothing else than making big money.
i guess he shouldve fought mtgawa himself.
juanma had a good strategy, it just came out to be much tougher than he thought, the jab wouldve helped a bit in the first rounds, but the guy just kept on coming.
Mr. Arum talking about money (excuse me, I meant boxing)
This is just nonsense! I know Bob Arum is one of the best promoters out there! But his job is just making huge money! I'd say this guy sometimes may seem to have no idea about boxing! Let the mister do his job: making [B]disputable fights look like super fights.
About JML's fight, we have to give Juanma some credit (shameful if you want) just for not kissing the canvas. His heart kept him standing and that was almost it for him in that fight ( no jabs, no combinations, no smart boxing at all). It is better to witness this type of fights than watching uneven matches favoring just one fighter. Boxing won this time. As a consequence, Mr. Arum is dreaming about making a ("super") fight between Gamboa and Lopez. (not "super" at all, in my opinion, a very exciting one, but still no "super" fight yet)
Peace
