Ooooooo no no no no no no noooooo Papi!!!! You mothafuqas ain't getting off the hook that easy. First your boy Navarette loses. He looked like an amateur. Shakur would have dogged him worse than he did Valdez. Then 'Brotha' Brian Norman mollywops Santillian in front of his hometown Mexican crowd. Stood right in front of him tot-to-toe all night and hit him with them 'black power brain busters'. What happened to all that 'Mexican boxing: heart bravery machismo' blah blah Yada Yada Yada! If Navarette and Santillian were victorious last night you clowns would've been on every boxing site all week talking shyte. Yeah your amigos should have asked Ryan Garcia for some of those GARCIA GUMMY BEARS! FUQ DAT you think cause it's Sunday I'm gonna let this shyte ride? I'm talking shyte all week to you vats hahahahaha

I thought that Brian Norman was a pretty decent prospect, but I didn't know that he could fight like this. Hats off to him for rising to the occasion. He stayed calm , composed , and thinking under a hellacious amount of pressure from Santillan. He's only twenty three and figures to be in some good fights going forward.

The fight was a war, Norman deserves full credit for his performance against Santillan.
I didn't like the way he squatted down next to Santillian's prone body, he was savoring his spectacular, and devastating win in a unprofessional manner.
I understand that he had just been in a fire fight that could've gone either way, so his adrenaline was through the roof, but it was still an eerie, if not ominous sight.
Norman was being disrespectful, unprofessional, gloating over the damage that he had caused to his formidable opponent.

Thats the power of being doubted - lights a molten fire in people and it sure as hell did with Norman. Crawford and Spence leaving and Norman's performance - That dude is a player in the division!

This is proof why you should never bring your immediate family to a fight - they go from before the fight waving and smiling at the cameras - to being emotionally traumatized seeing your bloody body bend and twist from a huge KO punch.

If Crawford is moving up for sure in August , he should just vacate the belts now instead of selfishly waiting to be stripped. Why hold the belts hostage for three more months ? They don't have any value to him anyway , besides being able to call himself the Champion. He doesn't need them for leverage in making any moves business wise. It would be the right thing to do for the sport and the other fighters , but since when has that mattered to anyone ?

Rubbing his junk on his shoulder , acting like he was humping him was really crappy too. I was thinking , why turn such a great performance into something low class like that ? Hopefully someone will have a talk with him and clue him in.

Norman has got to learn how to be professional, because what goes around comes around, it was Santillan today, it could be Norman in the future.

Yeah I don't see the point of Crawford holding on to belts he's not gonna defend anymore. He's up at a new weight now and probably staying up there going forward so just vacate the belts and let the other fighters at 147 have there shot.

I like Rocha, regardless what others say. And we know how Santilan handled him. So I was expecting to see Santillan beat this guy down too. But you could see early that Norman was game: quick, sharp, strong, a solid chin, and ready and able to trade in the pocket

Wasn't too long and he was hitting Santillan with stuff that mattered and when Santillan was able to hit, it didn't affect Norman the same way.

And whether it was from Norman clinching or Santillan smothering his work, Santillan didn't get in nearly as many solid straights shots. They were often just frustrated taps to the side of the head because there was no distance. Norman kept them short, crisp and hurtful.

All that said, Norman is a dirtbag for his antics right after KOing Santillan.
