I've studied up quite a bit about various taboos and various cultures, and I agree.

Still, given all of my intrest in the subject ; "culture" itself is almost as bad as "religion" as a means of giving one free license to act less then human at best, and barbaric at worst.

I live in the South, now.

It's not practiced here.

Probably is somewhere down in Mississippi, or the Carolinas.
