the reason im picking Usyk is the same reason I picked Canelo. You can look in “the best shape of your life” all you want, but you can’t undo 35 years of boozing, drugs and abuse.

I also thought Saunders was about to “fall off the cliff” before Canelo landed that lucky shot. BJS was jumping into grabs like he always did when he needed a second wind. Had that shot not landed he prob gets stopped 1-2 rounds later.

You cant “part time” your fitness and expect it to not catch up to you. This is why I always point out Beterbiev and Kovalev are the same age lol

its a fair point. Its a shame BJS was so unprofessional and inactive, most fighters would kill for his natural ability. I really think he is a wasted talent. I think with more discipline he would've been a truly top fighter.

As for Fury, its hard to say, of course things will catch up with him. But he's also a bit weird, he really had no business getting back to this level after being over 400lbs but he did. His last performance was shockingly bad and it could be an indication he's really declined quickly, but he looked fine in the fights before that, so who knows. We know he can look poor and then really turn it on for his biggest challenges. We'll see tomorrow.

What i will say is if Fury looks good tomorrow, I still think he's only got a couple of good fights in him. I actually think the same for Usyk too, he's coming up 38, even the guys that look after themselves well can age quickly. I thought he looked a bit older in the Dubois fight, aside from the shot he went down with, legal or not, I don't really think he looked quite as sharp, dubois is just a quitter. I actually thought he was better in the first AJ fight than the second, could that be a regression in sharpness? he's not young, he's had a long career, amateur and pro, lots of camps. Everyone is in decline after 35, just some slowly and some rapidly. Nobody is getting better in their late 30s. boxing history tells us that.

You mentioned Beterbiev, he might be 39, but a part of still looking good is the opposition. Would you be surprised to suddenly see him look around 40 vs Bivol? I know I wouldn't l. All it takes is the right opponent.

I don't like usyk coming in heavy. Must be a plan behind it tho.

Expecting fury to win first 3 or 4 rounds then usyk taking over

Fury looks a little soft around the body. I think it's going to be opposite and Usyk is going to rip the body of Fury.

It's going to be a Usyk clinic.

Same. He looks fit, and solid and he has a gas tank for 15 rounders.

Fury can bully and box better than AJ or Chisora, so I am not sure why people think Usyk will win this fight.

I have said it will be close but that I favor Fury only because we are not sure which Fury will turn up. If the best or near-best Fury turns up, he will definitely beat Usyk.
Yea that’s called Wembley scorecards ,in reality Chisora wouldn’t even get more then 4 rounds anywhere else .

Fury is extremely overrated that’s why most think Usyk will win , he actually needs to win Legitimately ( no judging gifts ) to just erase his abysmal resume . Before you start in …..

Wilder , Chisora and Whyte are his only title defenses and he beat 2 of those guys a combined 5/6 times so I don’t want to hear it ,I’m not even gonna list the other guys he’s fought bc it’s a joke since 2015 . Lol

If Fury loses not only did Usyk defeat him ,he defeated the entire event which includes the event’s promotion, judges and I’m guessing the referee but we won’t know until the bell rings .
