I actually see Cotto getting cut inside 3 round due to Pacquiao fast start and punching power and if this happen the judges can go home because we wont need them. However this is not written on rock, if he can overcome the first half of the fight without suffering any cuts then I expect him to be in the race until the final bell.

Cotto has only been cut by Margarito with Punches..and that didn't come til late in the fight..

I remember Cotto's doctor saying his cut against Clottey would about 6 months to fully heal and this fight is 5 months later. I know this is just a rough approximation but it's something to consider.

although this is an orthodox vs a southpaw..in which Manny, the southpaw of course, does lunge in wildly..so a cut is very probable..

but Cotto is no Juan Diaz..he doesn't fold under the pressure of a cut..so it's ok..
