I actually called the Paro upset weeks ago in my Facebook group. I came very close to playing a DraftKings parlay on Puello and Paro. I'm mad I didn't.

I initially picked Russell by SD, but watched more tape on Puello and knew he'd be a problem. Matias is flat-footed and overrated. I said so all week. My comment to a friend in my boxing group when he asked for my Matias-Paro pick:

"Matias is slightly overrated. I don't think Benavidez will be able to hurt guys at 175 like he did at 168. Tank is too experienced for Frank. Russell-Puello can go either way. Puello is undefeated and very experienced."

"Paro is a fearless Australian with good power, good balance who doesn't fall apart as the fight progresses. Matias breaks guys who enter the ring fearing him. Paro does not fear and is emotionally balanced."

I thought Puello was out of the ring since his ban. That's why i picked Russell. I wish i checked because i would have gone for him. Russell is too predictable and overrated. He's decent, but nothing more. Nor is he this puncher many make out he is.

It depends on which Australian it is. Like anywhere i suppose.

I was never on the Matias hype train. I only said that Bill Haney would rather Devin fight someone else for more money.
